I am going to be documenting my progress on here over the next few months for anybody interested in my ramblings.

I am studying for a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Glasgow where I will be synthesising novel organic molecules which exhibit thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF).

Put simply these are molecules which emit light when an electrical current is passed through them. They find usage in OLED devices such as televisions and smartphones.
